How do I buy on Vendome.mc?
Vendome.mc reflects the most reliable view of our current selection at any given time. In some cases, a piece may no longer be available, may be delayed, or may not yet appear online for availability reasons. If you cannot find the product you are looking for, we invite you to contact our team directly. We may still be able to source the same piece, or a very close alternative, through our network.
Which payment methods are accepted?
At this time, orders placed through Vendome are paid by bank transfer once the order has been confirmed. If you have any question before proceeding, our team remains available to assist you directly.
How are products authenticated?
All products sold by Vendome are carefully reviewed for authenticity by our team. Whenever possible, items are accompanied by their original boutique invoice or supporting documentation. If original paperwork is not available, this is clearly indicated. Each product is examined with care before being offered for sale.
Can I reserve a product?
Product reservations are not currently available through the website. However, you may contact us directly if you would like to make a specific request or discuss a particular piece with our team.
Why are some products shown even if they are no longer available?
In some cases, a piece may have sold shortly before you viewed it. When an item is no longer available, we indicate this accordingly. If a product has recently sold, Vendome may still be able to help by sourcing the same piece, or the closest possible alternative, through a more tailored search.
Order and delivery
Can I cancel my order?
Orders cannot generally be cancelled once confirmed. If your situation has changed, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the status of the order, our team may still be able to review possible options with you.
How will my order be shipped?
Each order is prepared with care and packaged specifically for the product being shipped, with the aim of ensuring both protection and efficient delivery.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been confirmed and dispatched, you will receive shipping confirmation by e-mail together with a tracking number and a direct link to the carrier’s website. Vendome works with trusted international carriers such as DHL and FedEx for worldwide deliveries.
Can you deliver to a PO Box?
No. Due to the conditions of our transport partners, deliveries to PO Boxes are not possible. Orders are shipped directly to the delivery address provided at checkout. Delivery costs are calculated during checkout.
Returns and refunds
Can I return a purchased product?
The return of a purchased item is subject to the applicable legal withdrawal period and to the conditions stated by Vendome at the time of sale. Any claim relating to an item that is materially inconsistent with its description should be made within 7 days of receipt by e-mail or registered mail.
Returned items must be unused, in the same condition as originally delivered, and returned from the same country to which the order was shipped. Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the client, unless otherwise agreed.
If the returned product is not received in the same condition in which it was sent, Vendome reserves the right to adjust the refund accordingly.
Selling with Vendome
How can I sell a product through Vendome?
There are two ways to proceed. Vendome may either purchase your item directly, which is the quicker option, or receive it on a consignment basis and offer it for sale through Vendome.
In both cases, our experts review the proposed item within 48 hours. If the piece is selected, our team sends you a commercial offer, which you may accept or decline. Confirmation of acceptance can then be returned by e-mail.
What is Vendome’s commission on consignment items?
The standard commission applied by Vendome on consignment sales is 25% of the selling price excluding VAT. Depending on the product’s quality, age, condition, brand, and model, this commission may be reviewed to support the sale more effectively.
When and how will I be paid for a consignment sale?
Payment is made after the buyer’s legal withdrawal period has expired, and in any event within a maximum of 15 days following the buyer’s payment. Settlement is made by bank transfer or cheque, according to the option indicated in the sales agreement.
What happens if my product remains unsold?
If an item remains unsold after 30 days, Vendome may suggest a review of the initial sale price. You remain free to accept or decline this proposal. If you prefer, you may also request the return of your item.
Can I lower the price to help the product sell faster?
Yes. If you would like to accelerate the sale of your item, you may request a price adjustment. Please contact our team directly at contact@vendome.mc.
