Vendome operates in the luxury goods sector, including the sale, sourcing, import and export of leather goods, luxury watches, jewellery, and, on occasion, other high-value luxury products.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Site, as well as any purchase, order, enquiry, sourcing request, or other transaction made through or in connection with the Site.

By accessing the Site, using any of its services, submitting a form, placing an order, or otherwise engaging with Vendome through the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

Vendome may update or amend these Terms at any time. The version published on the Site at the time of use or purchase shall apply. Users are therefore encouraged to review these Terms regularly.

3. Eligibility

The Site and its services are intended for individuals and legal entities with legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law. By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or otherwise legally authorised to enter into such agreements.

4. Nature of the Services

Vendome offers a curated luxury retail and sourcing service through the Site. Depending on the item and the context of the transaction, Vendome may offer products that it owns directly and/or provide sourcing, consignment, brokerage, facilitation, or related luxury services.

The Site may also permit users to submit requests for specific products not currently displayed online. Any such request remains subject to review, availability, authentication, logistics, and final confirmation by Vendome.

5. Products

Vendome specialises in carefully selected luxury products, including handbags, watches, jewellery, accessories, and other high-end items. Due to the nature of the luxury resale and sourcing market, many products may be unique, limited in quantity, or no longer reproducible.

Product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, colours, hardware, condition notes, and photographs are provided for information purposes and are prepared with care. However, minor differences may occur, including variations in colour display depending on screens, lighting, photography, manufacturing tolerances, or natural material characteristics.

Many luxury products sold by Vendome are pre-owned, vintage, consigned, or sourced pieces and may therefore show signs of age, handling, or use consistent with their condition description.

6. Authenticity

Vendome places strong importance on authenticity, product review, and client trust. Products presented on the Site are selected and reviewed with care. Where relevant, Vendome may rely on internal expertise, external specialists, documentation, prior ownership records, invoices, brand-specific indicators, condition review, and other available elements.

Any authenticity-related guarantee, certificate, or statement shall be interpreted in the context of the information reasonably available at the time of sale. If a product is proven not to match its material description in a substantial way, Vendome will review the matter in good faith and may, where appropriate, offer a refund against return of the item in the same condition in which it was delivered, subject to these Terms.

7. Availability

All products are subject to availability. The addition of an item to a basket, wishlist, request form, or enquiry form does not reserve that item and does not guarantee availability.

Vendome reserves the right to withdraw any product from sale, suspend a listing, correct a listing, refuse a request, cancel an order prior to dispatch, or limit quantities where necessary, including in the event of:

• prior sale or unavailability;
• pricing or content errors;
• concerns regarding authenticity or conformity;
• logistics, compliance, legal, customs, or payment issues;
• suspected fraud or abuse.

8. Prices

Prices displayed on the Site are shown in Euros unless otherwise stated. Vendome reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. However, the price confirmed at checkout or otherwise expressly accepted by Vendome at the time of order shall prevail for that transaction.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices displayed on the Site do not automatically include all possible import duties, customs charges, local taxes, currency conversion fees, banking fees, or other charges that may arise in the destination country.

9. Orders

An order placed through the Site constitutes an offer to purchase. Vendome reserves the right to accept or refuse any order at its discretion, including after payment has been initiated, if the product is no longer available, if an error has occurred, or if the transaction gives rise to compliance, identity, logistics, or fraud concerns.

An order is considered accepted only once Vendome has confirmed it and the relevant payment has been successfully received and validated.

10. Payment

Payments made through the Site must be completed using the payment methods made available by Vendome at checkout or otherwise agreed in writing. Vendome may use third-party payment service providers and secure payment platforms to process transactions.

Vendome may refuse, suspend, or cancel a transaction where payment authorisation fails, where verification is incomplete, or where fraud prevention or compliance procedures require further review.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Vendome offers domestic and international shipping, subject to destination, item type, insurance requirements, customs restrictions, carrier acceptance, and applicable law.

Delivery times are indicative only. Vendome shall make reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver products promptly, but shall not be liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, force majeure, governmental restrictions, incomplete shipping information, import procedures, remote destinations, security checks, or events beyond its reasonable control.

Delivery charges, insurance costs, customs duties, import VAT, local taxes, brokerage fees, and other destination-related charges may apply depending on the destination country and the nature of the shipment. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such charges remain the responsibility of the buyer.

The risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery to the address indicated for the order, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

12. International Orders

For international orders, the buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the product may lawfully be imported into the destination country and for complying with all local laws, regulations, customs requirements, and import formalities.

Vendome shall not be liable for confiscation, customs delay, refusal of entry, additional taxes, import restrictions, or any other issue arising from the laws or administrative practices of the destination country.

13. Returns, Withdrawal and Refunds

Due to the nature of luxury products, including unique, high-value, vintage, consigned, pre-owned, or sourced items, returns and withdrawal rights may be subject to specific conditions.

Where mandatory consumer law grants a withdrawal right, such right shall apply only to the extent required by law and subject to all applicable exclusions, conditions, and deadlines. In particular, no return, exchange, or refund may be accepted where:

• the item has been worn, used, altered, damaged, or modified after delivery;
• tags, packaging, seals, certificates, accessories, or inclusions are missing;
• the item has been customised, specially sourced, reserved, or ordered on request for the buyer;
• the return is incompatible with the product’s nature, condition, or the legal regime applicable to the transaction.

Any approved return must be requested in writing and authorised in advance by Vendome. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered, together with all original inclusions, packaging, accessories, documentation, and protective elements.

Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Vendome reserves the right to inspect the returned item before any refund is issued.

14. Product Condition and Inspection

Buyers are encouraged to review product descriptions, measurements, condition notes, and images carefully before placing an order. Additional information, photographs, or clarifications may be requested before purchase where available.

Upon receipt, the buyer must inspect the item promptly and notify Vendome without undue delay in the event of any significant issue, discrepancy, or transport-related damage.

15. Sourcing Requests and Enquiries

Vendome may offer personalised sourcing services, including request forms and WhatsApp or direct enquiries regarding specific luxury products not currently listed online.

Any sourcing request submitted through the Site is non-binding unless and until confirmed by Vendome in writing. Vendome does not guarantee that a requested item can be sourced, secured, reserved, or delivered.

Pricing, timing, availability, condition, and applicable terms for sourced products may vary depending on market conditions and supplier availability.

16. User Accounts

Certain features of the Site may require the creation of a user account. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details and for all activities carried out through their account.

Vendome reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account in the event of misuse, inaccurate information, suspected fraud, breach of these Terms, or any conduct that may damage Vendome, its clients, or third parties.

17. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use the Site:

• for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purpose;
• to interfere with the Site’s operation, security, or availability;
• to submit false requests, false orders, or false identity information;
• to infringe intellectual property rights or third-party rights;
• to attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data.

18. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, product descriptions, photographs, logos, graphics, layout, design elements, source code, trademarks, and database structure, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws and remains the property of Vendome and/or its licensors unless otherwise indicated.

No part of the Site may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, adapted, transmitted, displayed, or exploited without prior written authorisation from Vendome, except where permitted by mandatory law.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vendome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, reputational, or economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site, the purchase or non-purchase of a product, a delay in shipment, a sourcing request, or a third-party service.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including certain mandatory consumer rights.

20. Force Majeure

Vendome shall not be liable for any delay, suspension, or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, cyber incidents, carrier disruptions, customs delays, strikes, governmental action, public health measures, import or export restrictions, or interruption of payment or logistics services.

21. Privacy and Personal Data

Personal data collected through the Site is processed in accordance with Vendome’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using the Site, you acknowledge that certain personal data may be required for identity verification, payment processing, delivery, fraud prevention, customer service, and legal compliance.

22. Complaints and Customer Support

Vendome places a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and will make reasonable efforts to review complaints, questions, and concerns in a fair and timely manner.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any contractual or non-contractual dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of Monaco.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Monaco, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules or rights that may apply under international private law or other applicable legal provisions.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any other policy or legal notice expressly incorporated by reference on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between Vendome and the user or buyer with respect to the use of the Site and the relevant transaction.
